Case Closure

Once you have been working successfully for at least 90 days, your DVR counselor will contact you to discuss your progress on the job. If you and your DVR counselor agree that further services are not needed, your case will be closed. DVR resources are limited. It is important to close cases when appropriate to give other people with disabilities an opportunity to access DVR services. If you find you need additional help after your case is closed, we encourage you to contact DVR to discuss post-employment services.

Post-Employment Services (PES)

Post-employment services (PES) may include any DVR service or combination of services. These services are provided after case closure and are necessary to help you stay employed, regain employment or advance your employment. The DVR counselor and participant agree to a PES plan of services.
