> The Director of Rehabilitation Services provides leadership to diverse campus-wide programs and professionals in Occupational, Recreational, Vocational therapists and institutional counselors.
> Provides quality assurance and assistance to hospital-wide programs and Center's in maintaining adeqeuate quantity of qualified rehabilitative care deliverers' through the hiring and credentialing/review processes.
> Provides quality assurance of the vocational services program to ensure patients receive job opportunities tied to needs identified in their treatment plans.
> Provides quality assurance of the physical therapy services and coordinates with relevant outside consultants.
> Provides quality assurance and assistance to hospital-wide programs and Center's in the maintenance and improvement of the treatment malls/recovery Center's and related rehabilitation services programming.
> Provides quality assurance and training of the Center's related to medical records documentation (assessments, treatment planning, progress notes and related documentation).
> Oversees hospital-wide programming and Center's for staff compliance with Medicare and Joint Commission Standards.
> Coordinates with internal systems and community agencies to develop volunteer, training, and work study opportunities.
> Provides oversight to Infinity Center, Beauty Shop, Our Store and Patient-Computing programs for patient care.
> Promotes recovery orientated services throughout hospital programming and committees.
