Telecommunication Equipment Distribution (TED) (ODHH)


What needs program covers:
The Telecommunication Equipment Distribution (TED) in the Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH), provides telecommunications equipment for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and Speech Impaired residents of Washington state.

Who is eligible: Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, and Speech Disabled residents of Washington State.

Income and Resource Limits: Equipment provided on a sliding fee scale based on 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Program Requirements : Clients must complete an application form (as described below) and have the form certified by an authorized professional.

How to apply/get services: Potential clients need to fill out DSHS Form 14-264 “Application for Telecommunications Equipment” (PDF). The form can also be obtained by calling 1-800-422-7930 Voice/TYY or visiting our website at odhh.dshs.wa.gov.
