Washington is Working to Recruit More Foster Parents Like You

You Can Too…

More than 1,000 foster parents, private recruitment agencies, and child welfare staff from all over the state were involved in choosing a new logo and slogan for a statewide foster care recruitment campaign.

Bright colors and a bold tagline let potential foster parents know that they have what it takes to change a child's life for the better.

The new logo with the words Foster Parenting-You Can Too will appear on publications and promotional products in the coming months.

Look for the logo and related materials featuring profiles of real foster parents just like you who are making a difference in the lives of children.

You can be a part of the new campaign by sharing your foster parenting story with us. Tell us in 500 words or less:

• A little about you and your family
• What prompted you to become a foster parent
• How long have you been fostering
• About how many children you have fostered
• How your life has been changed as the result of becoming a foster parent

Your profile may be featured in publications or ads for the You Can Too… campaign
