New Tools and Resources for Social Service Providers who work with Children of the Incarcerated

Research has shown that as many as 1 in 31 adults in this country are in prison, jail or under some kind of correctional supervision. Even though oftentimes the question isnít asked, social workers and social service providers often encounter and seek to help children of the incarcerated, their families and caregivers.

DSHS Children's Administration and Planning, Performance and Accountability Office have created a new video training available online to help social service providers gain new tools and resources to help work with this community more effectively.
