Deeming

DBHR has agreements with three national accreditation organizations to accept their accreditation in lieu of on-site surveys of certified chemical dependency service providers.  Deemed agencies have lower certification fees.  The three accreditation organizations are:

1. Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
2. Council on Accreditation (COA).
3. The Joint Commission.
