On-site technical assistance surveysDBHR is a regulatory agency as defined in Chapter 43.05 Revised Code of Washington (RCW). DBHR is required under RCW 43.05.020 to provide technical assistance visits. DBHR Certification Specialists conduct on-site technical assistance surveys a minimum of once every three years of all certified chemical dependency service providers. Agencies are notified at least 60 days in advance of planned survey dates. DBHR attempts to coordinate its surveys with other regulatory agencies whenever an agency is regulated by more than one governmental entity.
