Washington Administrative Codes (WACs)
DBHR has three chapters of rules in the Washington
Administrative Code (WAC). DBHR works with its stakeholders and
the department's Rules and Policies Assistance Unit to ensure
rules are written in compliance with the Administrative
Procedures Act and the principles of Regulatory Improvement,
Regulatory Reform, Clear Rule Writing, and Plain Talk. For
questions about WAC changes, call Deb Cummins, Certification
Policy Manager at 360-725-3716, or e-mail
