About DASA's Evaluation and Quality Assurance Section

The Evaluation and Quality Assurance (EQA) section has been in existence since January 1991, to respond to the division's research and evaluation needs.  In early 1995, the EQA section became a stand-alone organizational unit within DASA with a total staff of five.

Over the last few years, EQA has managed between 15 to 25 projects at any given point in time. The vast majority of these projects are managed through contracts. Contractors include the major state universities in Washington as well as research organizations within state government, the federal government, and in the private sector.
