Providers are advised that TARGET access and data entry requires a high level digital certificate and authentication through the TRANSACT Washington portal. The digital certificate management software that we all used with earlier OS versions (Win XP; Win 98 etc) is not compatible with VISTA OS. The token management software will not install on VISTA OS. Preliminary information from the vendor is compatible token manager software will not be available for several months. Contracted agencies are advised NOT to run TARGET from a computer with VISTA OS until an updated token management software is available from Identi Trust.
