• Opiate Treatment Programs (OTPs) provide a comprehensive medical and psychosocial treatment approach in conjunction with an individualized medication regime.

• Determining the Value of Opiate Substitution Treatment, January 2004, a report to the Washington State Legislature, presents an outcome analysis of programs providing methadone treatment.  Five areas are analyzed: criminal arrests; utilization of health care services; public assistance; employment status; and heroin use. 

Tobacco-Free Facility and Grounds: 2009-11 Contract Requirement
For the 2009-11 Biennium, all contracted and subcontracted treatment agencies with the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA) or its successor will be tobacco-free. A tobacco-free facility is defined as an environment free of tobacco use, including the use of smokeless tobacco, such as snuff and chewing tobacco. All contracted and subcontracted agencies with DASA will establish tobacco-free facilities and grounds and provide tobacco-cessation programming. Tobacco-Free Verification
