Employee Notifications Web Page

DSHS operates an Employee Information Telephone Line, 1-866-DSHS-EMP, to provide the most current information available on office and facility closures during inclement weather, natural disaster, and national or state or regional emergencies.

When working at a DSHS work site with access to the agency Intranet, DSHS employees can find the number on the DSHS Communications Resource Guide (Intranet). On the left margin of the screen, select emergency office closure information.

During key periods, the Employee Emergency Information Hotline may be busy, and it may be necessary to redial – or to visit this DSHS Employee Notifications Web Page.

See memo on rules governing work disruption during inclement weather and natural disasters.
