Fircrest Contract Services

What and where is Fircrest?

Fircrest is a residential facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Adult Training Program at Fircrest offers our residents vocational training and supported employment opportunities.  

The physically and developmentally challenged persons who live and work at Fircrest can accomplish many tasks independently. This provides our workers with the opportunity to earn money. All of the income generated from your contract is paid directly to the person(s) performing your work, helping them to become more self-sufficient while enhancing self-confidence and self-esteem.

Our facility is certified by the Department of Labor and Residents receive payment for all of their work.

Due to budget constraints, the Fircrest Activities building is closed.

We are located in the city of Shoreline, just north of the Seattle city limits.

Work assembly

Confidential document destruction

No minimum amount, low costing, safe, secure, confidential

  1. Shredding services provided to individual, households and businesses.

Donations

We accept donations of household goods, such as clothing, shoes, books, movies, jewelry, ties, scarf's, coats, hats, small appliances (i.e. can openers, blenders, etc. all must be in good working order though).

Mailings

  1. Mailing Projects
  2. Newsletters
  3. Flyers

Sorting

  1. Newspaper Rolls (i.e. wrapping fish at the market)
  2. Sorting various items (i.e. nuts & bolts)
  3. Counting and packaging of items
