Ordering DSHS Publications

There are two suppliers of DSHS publications (informational material such as brochures, booklets, posters, flyers and pamphlets).

• Washington State Department of Printing (DOP)
  DOP distributes only DSHS publications whose publication number includes an (X). Examples of (X) publication numbers: DSHS 22-169(X) (2/01), DSHS 22-409(X) (Rev. 6/02).
  
  How to order from DOP
  Go to the Department of Printing's Web site at http://www.prt.wa.gov. Select "General Store" on the right side of the webpage. Log-on to the site. Select the "Department of Social and Health Services."
  
  The preferred method of ordering is online but orders may also be placed by e-mail at fulfillment@prt.wa.gov, or by phone at (360) 570-5024 or fax at (360) 586-8831. Be sure to include the "Publication Number" in your request and information on where to send the publication.
  
  PLEASE NOTE: Previously, the DSHS Forms and Publications Warehouse stored DSHS publications which included an (X) in the publication number. With the closure of the DSHS Warehouse, DSHS programs are currently deciding whether to transfer publications previously stored in the warehouse to DOP or to distribute their own publications. During this time, some publications which have an (X) in the publication number may not be available from DOP or for distribution. • DSHS Programs
  Some DSHS programs distribute their own publications. These publications have NO (X) in the publication number. Examples of publication numbers distributed by DSHS programs: DSHS 22-259 (12/01), DSHS 24-201 (Rev. 3/06).
