Number of Truancy, Children in Need of Services, and At-risk-youth Petitions (Becca Report)
Each quarter during the 2001-03 fiscal biennium, each county shall report the number of petitions processed and the total actual costs of processing the petitions in each of the following categories: Truancy, children in need of services, and at-risk youth. Counties shall submit the reports to the department no later than 45 days after the end of the quarter. The department shall forward this information to the chair and ranking minority member of the house of representatives appropriations committee and the senate ways and means committee no later than 60 days after a quarter ends.

Juvenile Court Block Grant

The department was required to administer a block grant to juvenile courts for the purpose of serving youth adjudicated in the juvenile justice system and to provide a  report on the changes to the process of funding and managing grants to juvenile courts for serving youth adjudicated in the juvenile court system.

Data & Quality Assurance Integration

The 2012 Legislature, through 3ESHB 2127, Section 3(9), required the Washington Association of Juvenile Court Administrators (WAJCA) and the Department of Social & Health Services' Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) to analyze and review data elements available from the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) for possible integration into the statewide evidence-based program quality assurance plans and processes.  The WAJCA and JRA shall reort the findings of their review and analysis, as well as any recommendations to the legislature.

Study of Juvenile Rehabilitation Bed Use

This report looks at bed capacity, average occupied beds, unused bed capacity, current resident populations, and different utilization rates of intensive management.
