145: SDX SHOWS SSI CLIENT MOVED TO ANOTHER STATE

This alert is only generated if ACES is not able to auto-update the incomer and the client is open on programs other than S01 or S01 and a related Medicaid cost-sharing program (S03, S05).  A two-tiered alert generated when the SDX file shows that a client has moved out of Washington and the same client shows as a Washington resident on the DEM1. The user must investigate the discrepancy and record results in ACES on the client screens(s).

This is a SDX and BENDEX alert.

PROCEDURE

1.      View the second tier of the alert by entering a [Y] in the Sel field and pressing <F13> to view the SDX information.

2.      Check the SDX1 and verify the Moved Out St field is populated with an [Y].

3.      The user may also want to check the residential address as well.

4.      Attempts should be made to contact the client to verify that client's current situation.

5.      If the client has moved out of state, the user will take appropriate action to close all programs.

6.      Document all action taken and disposition the alert.
