190: ACES CHILD IN FOSTER CARE - CONTACT FOSTER CARE UNIT

DESCRIPTION

This alert generates when the FamLink interface includes a foster care child and ACES shows that child is active in another AU.

PROCEDURE

1.    Inquire on the child’s case status to determine what programs they are on which may be affected by being in foster care.

2.    Contact the Division of Children and Family Services Foster Care Medical Unit to obtain detailed case information on the child.

3.    If appropriate, remove the child from any AUs he/she should no longer be active on.

DISPOSITION

Enter [Y] in the D field and <TRANSMIT>.
