273: CHECK ROOM AND BOARD EXCEPTION AMOUNT

DESCRIPTION

This alert generates for AUs where the client has an obligation to pay Room and Board costs and all the following conditions are met:

·         Case status is A - Active

·         The R&B Exception field has a value in both the Type and Amt fields

·         The Room and Board field on the MAFI screen was $0.00 and changed to an amount greater than $0.00.

o    The changes may be a result of a change in the client’s income, the spouse’s income, or income standards were changed.

PROCEDURE

1.    Review the Room and Board Exceptions on the LTCX screen to determine if the exception is still appropriate.  

DISPOSITION

Enter [Y] in the D field and <TRANSMIT>.
