288: PRISONER MATCH FOUND - SEE 2ND TIER FOR DETAILS

When the user views the second tier, they will see the (PRSM). The (PRSM) will contain the following information about the prisoner:

This is a month end deadline alert.

1. Date of confinement

2. Release Date

3. Facility Information

This alert comes from an interface between SSA Prisoner database and ACES to identify individuals potentially ineligible for TANF and/or FS benefits. This alert will only be sent for the same client once every three months. This does not replace the FORS System.

The daily process will send new clients added through screening that day (e.g. pending status) in any program (e.g. AF, FS, RF, GA, GW, GI, GH, MA and DA). The monthly process will send clients who are active or suspended in any program except DA.

PROCEDURE

1. View the second tier of the alert by entering a [Y] in the SEL field and pressing <F13>.

2. User will need to determine if the information on the second tier is correct. Contact with the facility or client may be necessary.

3. When all information is verified, users must determine how this information affects client eligibility for active programs.

4. Take appropriate action according to policy rules. Necessary action may include entering [JL] in the LIVING ARRANGEMENT field that will either remove the household member or close the AU.

5. Document action taken in the remarks or narrative.

6. Disposition the alert.
