· A MAID is a medical assistance identification card that was issued in ACES prior to the implementation of the ProvideOne system. As of May 2010, ProviderOne issues a Medical Services Card which replaces the paper medical coupon or MAID previously issued by ACES.
How do I view a historical MAID in aces.online?
1. On the aces.online Welcome Back page, use the Quick Navigation section to do the following:
o In the Select a Type of ID drop down box, click Assistance Unit.
o Enter the AU number in the Enter an ID box.
o In the Select a Page drop down box, click Medical ID Cards.
2. On the Assistance Unit >> Medical ID Cards page, click the Issue Date of the MAID you want to view.
OR
1. On any Assistance Unit >> Summary page, from the Benefits dropdown box, click on Medical ID Cards.
2. On the Assistance Unit >> Medical ID Cards page, click the Issue Date of the MAID you want to view.
How do I view a historical MAID in ACES mainframe?
· A historical MAID can be viewed in ACES mainframe from the BENEFIT HISTORY MA ID ISSUANCE – BENM screen.
· To view the BENM screen, take the following steps:
1. From the WMEN screen, select option J – Benefit History.
o Benefit history may also be accessed from STAT, CAFI, FSFI or MAFI screens by pressing <F19> - jmen.
2. On the JMEN screen, select option E. – Benefit History MA ID Issuance Inquiry (AU ID, BNFT Date)
3. Enter the [assistance unit ID] in the AU ID field.
4. Enter the [Benefit Date (MMYY)] in the Benefit Date field.
5. <TRANSMIT> and the BENM screen displays.
What information is listed on the MAID?
· The following information is displayed on the MAID:
o CSO address
o Eligibility period
o Medical coverage group code
o Patient identification code (PIC)
o Level of coverage (e.g., CNP, MNP, Family Planning Only, etc)
o Client name and address
o CSO number
o AU number
· In addition, the following information may also appear on the MAID if appropriate:
o The phone number and partial name of any appropriate Healthy Options carrier or primary care case management provider (PCCM)
o Medicare claim number (HIC)
o Any restrictions; and
o Any other medical coverage information.
· MAID messages are statements that list additional information about a clients specific medical coverage. | |
