How do I process a pending void?

How can I tell if a benefit has been voided?
· Pending void is an ACES function that allows users to cancel/void an EBT issuance after deadline and at least one day prior to its availability date.
· Benefits must be pending in the JPMorgan EBT Pending Benefits File and not already posted to a client’s EBT account.
· Only monthly issuance can be voided.
· Only the full issuance amount can be voided. There are no partial voids. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

How do I process a pending void?
· To void a pending issuance, enter the [appropriate reason code to close the AU] in the AU Status Reasons field on the STAT screen.
What reason codes are used to void benefits?
Is advance notice required to void benefits?
· The reason codes used to void benefits do not require that advance notice of the change be given the household. This is the reason that the pending issuance can be voided. Even though advance notice is not required, adequate notice is always required. See EAZ Manual - WAC 388-418-0020 Effective Date for Changes
How can I tell if a benefit has been voided?
· All benefits that are voided will be reflected on the JMEN screen with a valid value of VD - Voided Benefits.
