Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Crosswalk

Revised May 21, 2012

Transition of WAC titles from WAC 388 (DSHS) to WAC 182 (HCA)

Purpose: In July 2011, the Medicaid Purchasing Administration, the Agency responsible for Medical Assistance programs, transitioned out of DSHS and under the responsibility of the Health Care Authority (HCA). Since HCA is responsible for managing the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) filings that govern medical assistance, these WACS are being transitioned out of Chapter 388 (DSHS) and into Chapter 182 (HCA). Since many DSHS WACS point to HCA WACS which may have been changed, this crosswalk is provided as a guide until the complete work involving the WAC transition is complete.
