Prescription Drug Assistance Programs

Revised October 28, 2007

Purpose: Information is available for non-DSHS resources to assist people with getting financial help with their prescriptions at the following web sites:

  1. iSafetyNet.US (Community, Health and Social Services) is a website that lists the prescription drug companies that have some type of program to assist low-income persons with their prescription drug needs. This list of programs is available to assist people who might be eligible for alternative financial assistance with their prescription drugs. This list provides links to program details including contact information and eligibility criteria. For example, if a person is not eligible for GAU, this site may provide information of where the person can get financial assistance to buy their prescription drugs including the contact name and contact information.

  2. RX Help Washington

  3. RX Washington.gov

  4. Partnership for Prescription Assistance 1-888-477-2669

It is important to review both the Program Name AND the Agency Name to find the appropriate site. Then click on View Details to review the information.
