WAC 388-526-0330 May the administrative law judge quash a subpoena? (Emergency rule effective 6/10/12.) 1. A party may request that an administrative law judge (ALJ) quash (set aside) or change the subpoena request at any time before the deadline given in the subpoena.
2. An ALJ may set aside or change a subpoena if it is unreasonable.
3. Witnesses with safety or accommodation concerns should contact the office of administrative hearings (OAH).
