Admissions halted at Kent adult family home

OLYMPIA --The state Department of Social and Health Services has stopped new admissions at the Birdsong Adult Family Home in Kent.

The home is licensed and owned by Imeeh Ballan Magsanoc. It is located 11701 SE 233rd Place.

The state took the action after finding numerous violations that affected the safety and well-being of residents. The violations include the licensee's failure to ensure that:

The provider has the right to contest the stop placement of admissions by requesting an administrative hearing within 28 days of state notification. While the home is in stop placement, licensee may not admit new residents or re-admit current residents without department permission. Current residents may remain.
