OLYMPIA -- The Health and Recovery Services Administration (HRSA) of the Department of Social and Health Services will hold a Diversity Job Fair on Tuesday, June 3, at its headquarters in Cherry Street Plaza, 626 – 8th Avenue SE, Olympia.
The job fair will feature exhibits and displays by the different divisions in the administration, along with information about the advantages of a career in medical assistance, chemical dependency treatment, disability determinations, and mental health services. Those are the four key benefit areas managed by HRSA staff.
The program also will include daylong presentations by HRSA division directors, talking about their staff programs and responsibilities, as well as recruitment efforts. Job fair attendees will have the opportunity to talk to program staff about their experiences and state service in general.
In addition, people attending the job fair will be able to sit down with Human Resources staff who can explain the new e-recruiting system – the state’s electronic job search system.
Some of the key jobs being recruited this year by HRSA divisions include:
Disability Adjudicators 1, 2 and 3; Office Assistants; Licensed practical Nurses; Psychiatric Child Care Counselors; Chemical Dependency Professionals; Medical Assistance Specialists 1,2 and 3; Human Resource consultants; Contracts specialists; and Information Technology Specialists.
Diversity Job Fair
College students, high school graduating seniors and state employees are all welcome at the HRSA Diversity Job Fair. The event is free and open to the public.
