Olympia -- If you have lost your job or had your working hours cut back, the Department of Social and Health Services might be able to help.

The department will host an Economic Survival Resource Fair, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the DSHS child support office, 6135 Martin Way, SW, Lacey.

Some of the resources available include information on:

• Modifying child support orders
• Apprenticeship programs
• Local community and vocational colleges
• Food stamps, cash and medical benefits
• Free transportation to support work-related activities
• Legal services
