Admissions stopped, license revoked at Kent boarding home

OLYMPIA -- The state Department of Social and Health Services has issued a stop placements at the revoked the license of Moore Care, a boarding home, located at 22615 100th Avenue SE, Kent.

The boarding home is licensed to Moorecare Inc. The license number is 1048.

The state took the action after finding numerous violations that jeopardized the safety and well-being of residents.  The violations include but are not limited to:

The Licensee experiences significant financial problems and possible business failure. The nine residents were at risk of eviction from the home and of not receiving needed care and services.

The provider has the right to contest the stop placement and revocation by requesting an administrative hearing within 28 days of state notification. Current residents have been moved to other settings.
