The MHBG is overseen by the Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council (MHPAC). The Washington State Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council (also referred to as "the Council") and its subcommittees operate under Public Law 102-321, and are responsible to perform various MHPAC duties.

This slide show was originally created for the Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council’s (MHPAC) All Stakeholders Meeting held in September and will be updated as needed. Regional Support Networks (RSN's) were advised to share this with their RSN Advisory Boards.
The MHBG Plan is due to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) September 1st each year. For the first time, States are required to submit the application/plan electronically.
