Planning and Performance Team

In April 2007, the DSHS Secretary formed a new Planning & Performance Team (PPT).
PPT is part of the Planning, Performance, and Accountability Administration (PPA) at DSHS. The team serves as the DSHS Secretary's liaisons for planning and performance in the following areas:

• Governor's GMAP Progress Reports
• Internal DSHS GMAP forums
• DSHS Strategic Planning

The Planning & Performance Team also provides DSHS
and other state agencies -consultation, training and facilitation in:

• Performance Management Resources & Tools
• Development of Data Plans and Performance Indicators
• Graphical Display of Data
• Process Improvement Strategies
• Meeting Facilitation

DSHS 2007-09 Agency Activity Inventory: The agency inventory summarizes the major activities of each budgeted agency within Washington State government and is published by the Office of Financial Management.

DSHS 2007-09 Performance Progress Report: This provides information on OFM reported measures about the performance of DSHS.

Performance Assessments: These analyze whether DSHS' performance measures demonstrate progress toward statewide results. The following administrations have completed performance assessments:

• Aging and Disability Services Administration (ADSA)
• Children's Administration (CA)
• Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA)
• Economic Services Administration (ESA)
• Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA)
