Strategic Planning: Setting DSHS Priorities

Every two years, DSHS evaluates its priorities and reassesses how to best meet its core mission. We ask our clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers how to better help individuals and families in need.

Through the strategic planning process, we align our resources with changing social and economic conditions. We design the map that shows us the way to meet the future needs of Washington residents.

The strategic plan covers the major DSHS goals or areas of focus, and lays out its primary objectives and strategies for achieving the goals.
