Qualified Tactile and/or Close Vision Interpreters who work with the DeafBlind community are eligible for an additional supplemental fee. While there is no formal certification process for for Interpreters working with DeafBlind people, ODHH recognizes DeafBlind Service Center as a subject matter expect, and honors their recommendations on who is qualified. These Interpreters have received credentials through DBSC.
How to become a Qualified Tactile and/or Close-Vision Interpreter
