The state of Washington has a designated TBI Information and Referral (I&R) system to connect you with the care and resources you need.
The Department of Social and Health Services, in partnership with the Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership Advisory Council, is updating the TBI I&R system to:
- better align with national quality standards
- collect accurate and timely TBI data for data-driven decision making
- identify needs, gaps and barriers that prevent awareness and/or care
- unite community partners, organizations and stakeholders to maximize and streamline services for the TBI community
Ultimately this I&R system update improves the way those experiencing traumatic brain injuries get connected with the services they need - no matter where, how or when they need them.
