Patients still under the hospital’s jurisdiction but living in the community

Some patients are living in the community on conditions such as they continue receiving treatment, etc. If these patients miss an appointment that’s mandatory, they are considered to have escaped even though they are not receiving active treatment at Western State Hospital.
