The Employment Pipeline (EP) is a voluntary program that helps current and or eligible DSHS participants navigate the pathways to employment by linking them to employment services and employment resources to have more success with any of their job search goals. The EP Navigators assist job seekers in navigating local workforce systems to access education, employment, and training services, and locate gainful employment opportunities. To aide in the success of finding gainful employment the navigators provide job retention services which includes, staying in touch with participants for one year after becoming employed, continued DSHS benefits review for eligibility, as well as assisting with any needs that may arise for the newly employed participants. EP does not provide participant reimbursements and this retention service is not equal to the BFET retention component. BFET Providers may receive referrals from EP Navigators as they assist clients and take into consideration co-enrollment opportunities.
