BFET Providers may implement a Portable Digital Device Loaner Program utilizing the 50/50 funding, with DSHS approval. Agencies are responsible to meet contract requirements for this program, including written policy, portable digital device loaner user agreement, portable digital device check-out and check-in tracking log, and technical requirements.
The maximum allowance for a loaner device is $700 per device. The proposed amount to purchase devices should include in applicable budget for start of a federal fiscal year, or an amendment for a current year. If an amount per device exceeds $700 per device, the provider will submit a request to spend beyond maximum and reason for cost.
A provider may request a Portable Digital Device Loaner Program at time of BFET Application each spring, or during a current FFY. If interested during a current FFY, the provider should contact their assigned BFET Program Manager.
