The ES UC Interface is a weekly, one way interface from Employment Security Department (ESD) which contains unemployment data in Washington.
ACES compares the client Social Security Number (SSN) information on the ES UC file to see if it matches any existing client in ACES. If a client exists in ACES, there is a check to see if any UC information exists on the UNER screen and if the dollar amounts are the same. This UC match occurs weekly for each client that received a payment during the process week.
ACES also sets a trigger when an Assistance Unit (AU) is screened, reinstated or a client is added. Those clients are compared against the ES UC file to see if the client has UC information. If a match is found, ACES checks the UNER screen to see if any UC information is listed. This UC match occurs nightly for each triggered client.
When there is a discrepancy during the daily or weekly UC match process, Alert 297 – ESD UCB NOT REPORTED ON ACES FOR SSN generates when the ES UC file has UC income and there is no entry for income source [UC] - Unemployment Compensation or [UF] - UC Eligible due to Seasonal Farm work Income.
When there is a discrepancy during the weekly UC match process, Alert 298 – AMT FROM ESD/ACES DIFFER FOR SSN generates when the ES UC file has UC income and there is a different amount displayed.
