SSPS is used to provide authorization and payment processing to certain providers for social services such as child care and in-home care giver services. For more information about SSPS, see the Social Service Payment System website.
ACES receives information from SSPS on clients who receive SSPS payments. The purpose of the interface is to determine if a client is receiving payments from both systems (ACES and SSPS).

When ACES finds a match and no income is coded on the Earned Income page, it generates two-tiered Alert 292 - SSPS EARNINGS NOT REPORTED TO ACES. The second tier of the alert displays up to six months of SSPS payment and service data.
