The SVES interface works behind the scenes, sending a record from ACES to the Social Security database which verifies client’s citizenship and social security number.
The SVES interface file is received daily.
The following information is received from the SVES interface:
ACES sends a file for Medicaid clients who meet the following criteria:

Passport, Tribal ID with Picture (T1) or,
Certified Birth Certificate (T2), Electronically Verified (System Generated) (EW), or Electronically verified by Federal Government database (System generated) (FV) with identify code of Verified Identity (V),. Electronically Verified by Washington Database (System Generated) (E), or Electronically Verified by Federal Government database (F).
If the above criteria are met, then the Social Security database sends a new response file to ACES.
If citizenship is verified, the response record will be processed as follows:
If citizenship is not verified, ACES generates Alert - 455 CITIZENSHIP UNABLE TO VERIFY VIA SSA CROSS MATCH to a supervisor assigned to CSO 127 (Citizenship Unit).
ACES sends a file to the Social Security database requesting verification of a client’s SSN. If the SSN is verified, ACES updates the SSN Verification field to Federally Verified (FV).
The Prisoner Match interface is an electronic interface between the Social Security prisoner database and ACES. It identifies individuals who are potentially ineligible for benefits.
ACES sends daily and monthly files to Social Security.
A client is included in the outgoing Monthly Prisoner Request when:
A client is included in the outgoing Daily Prisoner Request when they are 18 years or older with a primary SSN on BF, TANF, ABD, HEN, RF, or GS and meet one of the following criteria:
When a client’s prisoner release date has been verified, update the Date Released from Prison/Jail field on the Client Details page.
This will prevent Barcode tickler A288 - PRISONER MATCH FOUND from being generated if the confinement date in the daily or monthly interface is prior to the date they were released from prison/jail.
