275: REVIEW TPL NON-COOP STATUS, AUTO-OPEN NOT POSSIBLE

DESCRIPTION

This alert generates to the worker of record when an SSI recipient cannot be AUTO opened due to an existing Third Party Liability (TPL) non-cooperation sanction.
 

PROCEDURE

In ACES 3G, review the client information to determine whether the client should be in TPL non-cooperation sanction and take the following steps:
 
  1. If the client is still in TPL non-cooperation sanction, delete the alert.
  2. If the client is no longer in TPL non-cooperation sanction, take the appropriate action to remove the sanction. See Disqualifications and Sanctions – How do I lift a TPL sanction?
  3. If appropriate, manually open the client on SSI Categorically Needy (S01) medical coverage. For more information, see How do I screen SSI Categorically Needy (S01) medical?

 

DISPOSITION

In ACES 3G, to delete an alert place a checkmark next to the alert on the Case Actions page. In ACES Mainframe, enter [Y] in the D field and <TRANSMIT>.
