This two-tier alert generates daily when the State Data Exchange (SDX) Interface shows WASHCAP benefits cannot be AUTO-opened for one of the following reasons that display on Line 2:
o DEATH OF CLIENT, MED EFFECTIVE DATE = MM/DD/YY
o CLIENT HAS CURRENT ADATSA CODING ON INST
o LIVING ARRANGEMENT ON AN ACTIVE CASE
o CLIENT ACTIVE IN FOSTER CARE
o CLIENT ACTIVE IN FS WITH ANOTHER CLIENT
o CLIENT PENDING ON FS AU
o CLIENT HAS REPORTED EARNINGS
o CLIENT HAS RELATED CLIENT IN RELATED AU
o CLIENT NOT ELIGIBLE DUE TO ALIEN STATUS
o CLIENT PERMANENTLY DISQUALIFIED FS
o CLIENT OPTED OUT FROM WASHCAP
o CLNT NOT ELGBL DUE TO MARITAL STAT
1. Review the case to determine if case updates are needed.
o For example, if line 2 of the alert has LIVING ARRANGEMENT ON AN ACTIVE CASE, review the client’s DEM1 screen to see if the living arrangement valid value code was updated to [SD] – Verified by SDX (System Generated). If so, this code may need to be changed when opening a Basic Food or WASCHAP AU.
2. Enter [Y] in the S field and press <F13> to view the second tier.
o Review the FEDI screen for potential discrepancies.
Enter [Y] in the D field and <TRANSMIT>.
