RES1 - Resources 1 Screen

What is the RES1 screen?

The RES1 screen is a client level screen used to collect information and record changes regarding a client’s liquid resources, life insurance policies, and burial funds or contracts.

The RES1 screen follows the MEDXNCPS, or DEM4 screen in the regular screen flow depending on the program for which the client is applying.

How do I complete the RES1 screen?

Please refer to <F1> Help for the appropriate valid values to complete each of the following fields:

  1. In the Liquid Resources section:
  • Del: Enter [Y] - Yes and <F24> to delete the information listed.
  • Type: Enter client’s liquid resource type code.
  • Amount: Enter the dollar amount.
  • Acct number: Enter the account number.
  • Institution Name: Enter the name of the bank or other financial institution.
  • Sep Prop: Enter the code to indicate if the income is to be considered separate property.
  1. In the Insurance Policies section:
  • Type: Enter the type of insurance policy.
  • Face Amt: Enter the face value of the insurance policy.
  • Cash Amt: Enter the cash surrender value of the insurance policy.
  • Policy Num: Enter the policy number.
  • Institution Name: Enter the name of the insurance company or institution.
  • Sep Prop: Enter the code to indicate if the income is to be considered separate property.

The EFTM screen displays and provides access to the EFTR (EFT Registration) screen in update or inquiry mode. This function does not work if the AU is not associated with a cash AU, Edit 0617 - THIS PROG CODE IS NOT A CASH PROGRAM displays.

<F24> - del

Enter [Y] in the DEL field and press <F24> to delete resource and associated information on the RES1 screen.
