About ORIA

The Office of Refugee and Immigrant Assistance administers services to help refugee and immigrant families and individuals succeed and thrive in Washington state.

Washington is home to a large and diverse refugee and immigrant community. It has often ranked as one of the top 10 resettlement states in the country.

We work with strong community partners and provide culturally appropriate services. These partners include community-based organizations, voluntary refugee resettlement agencies, local community colleges, and government agencies.
