American Community Surveys (ACS) Maps
Description: 2013 American Community Surveys (ACS) 5-year estimates of persons who speak a foreign language at home and speak English less than “very well” by Census Tract. The maps were prepared for DSHS and its partners to assist in emergency preparedness planning for Washington jurisdictions.
Details: Each map set includes a statewide map and a map for each Washington county where a given language is spoken.
The maps were produced for the top 5 foreign languages spoken at home in WA whose speakers also speak English less than “very well.”

Description: 2012 American Community Surveys (ACS) - 5 year estimates of persons with disabilities or other support needs by Census Tract. The maps were prepared for DSHS and the Washington Department of Health to assist in emergency preparedness planning for Washington jurisdictions.
Details: Each map set includes a statewide map and a map for each Washington county (a total of 40 maps).
Data: Spatial and tabular data used to create the maps will is available at the DSHS Geospatial Open Data portal.
Format: This is a collection of PDF maps that you can view or print (page size 8.5" X 11").
