Rainier School residents take center stage at Fashion Show

WHAT:          Residents and staff at Rainier School in Buckley have been creating outfits, selecting songs and priming for the residential habilitation center’s third annual fashion show, ‘Home Run Fashions.’
During the event, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live at the residential habilitation center will take the spotlight and walk the runway for their peers, family, and community members.
 
WHO:            Residents of Rainier School and acting Superintended of Rainier School, Jeff Flesner along with special guests: Mayor Patricia Johnson; members of the Buckley Police and Fire departments; Fife Police; Seattle Sounders FC 2 soccer team with manager, Casey Sinser; DJ Jeremy Hamel of Velvetone, Jon Coyne of Hoopsmiles, Choreographer Lorinda Willis of EnvisionU and Derozette Banks, Mrs. South King County.
