Service Experience Team

Known as SET, this client advocacy group started in 2017 to listen, discuss, and gather insights from people who use long‑term services and supports.

 

About SET

The SET team of up to 12 members works in partnership with our programs, clients and their advocates to promote choice, quality of life, health, independence, safety, and active engagement of programs developed and operated by Home Community Services.

The specific responsibilities include:

  • Collectively act in an advisory capacity to Home Community Services.
  • Provide feedback and input into ongoing Home Community Services programs and services.
  • Review and provide input regarding new programs being developed.
  • Recommend to Home Community Services leadership programmatic efficiencies to improve services.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve the quality of services and the client experience.
  • Promote community involvement in support of our mission and vision.

 

Meetings

SET meets virtually six times a year on a third Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
