- Residential Care Services Professionals
Residential Care Services is responsible for the licensing and oversight of adult family homes, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and certified residential programs. Our mission is to promote and protect the rights, security and well-being of people living in these licensed or certified residential settings.

The Home and Community Services Division promotes, plans, develops and provides long-term care services for persons with disabilities and the elderly who may need state funds (Medicaid) to help pay for them. Read the HCS Mission Statement.
