
Early Support for Infants and Toddlers is a program of the Department of Children Youth and Families. It provides services to children birth to age 3 who have disabilities or developmental delays.
A family resources coordinator guides eligible families through the process. Services are designed to meet each child’s needs. They can include:
- Early education
- Speech, occupational and physical therapy
- Assistive technology
- Feeding and nutrition support
- Vision services
How to schedule an eligibility screening:

Developmental Disabilities Community Services and ESIT
A child enrolled in ESIT may be enrolled in DDCS from birth to age 3.
Contact our Intake and Eligibility team if you have questions about your child’s eligibility status. If your child is under age 3, our DDCS staff will support you in connecting with a local family resources coordinator.
