WA Cares Fund projected to be solvent over long term based on new analysis

OLYMPIA — WA Cares Fund, Washington state’s long-term care program for workers, is projected to be fully funded through June 30, 2098, according to a new study published today by the Office of the State Actuary. This means WA Cares is on solid financial ground as it prepares to launch next July and is good news for the many Washingtonians who will need long-term care in their lifetime.
