- What we do
We provide education and solutions for sign language access within government services.
Our program connects and consults with other state departments to provide appropriate sign language interpreting for the public, employees, and community partners.
Service providers use our online request system and depend on our expertise to support appropriate language for clients that use sign language or ProTactile Sign Language.
We partner with:- Department of Enterprise Services to implement and monitor contracts
- Health Care Authority to address the gap in sign language interpreter services for Apple Health consumers
- Administrative Office of the Courts to provide information on sign language interpreters' credentials for qualification to work in Washington State Courts as highlighted under WAC 388.818.600
- Division of Children, Youth, and Families, Adult Protective Services, Behavioral Health and Habilitation Administration, and other departments as requested.
